Christos G. Christodoulou received the B.Sc. degree in physics and math from the American University of Cairo in 1979, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, in 1981 and 1985, respectively. He served as a faculty member at the University of Central Florida, Orlando, from 1985 to 1998, where he received numerous teaching and research awards. In 1999, he joined the faculty of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque Parveen F. Wahid received her B.Sc. degree in mathematics and physics in 1969, her M.Sc. degree in physics in 1971 from the University of Mysore, India, and her Ph.D. in electrical communication engineering from the Indian Institute of Science in 1979. She was a research associate in the Electrical Engineering Department, University of Utah, from 1980 to 1982 and at the Electrical Engineering Department, University of Nebraska/Lincoln from 1982 to 1983.
